Whether it be a skiing trip or a Caribbean cruise, this will be the best holiday of your life, so make room in your budget and splash out.

The Stunning Country of Iceland 

Known for its breathtaking natural wonders, Iceland is a perfect destination. Book a private tour and enjoy incredible sights, including the famous Blue Lagoon. The geothermal spa is incredibly relaxing and romantic – you can even enjoy a couple’s massage. Embark on a thrilling glacier hike in Vatnajökull National Park. The stunning views of the glaciers and ice caves are like nothing you’ve ever seen. It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience never to forget. 

Add a bit of culture to the trip and visit the charming city of Reykjavik. Stroll through the vibrant streets, admiring the colourful houses and street art. Visit the iconic Hallgrimskirkja Church, which offers views of the city. Of course, the best adventure will be on the Northern Lights Tour. Wrap up in warm clothes and head to the countryside, where you can watch the display of green and purple lights dance across the sky. It is a surreal and magical experience.

Suppose you can’t stand the idea of long, lazy days and nights; why not take a trip to the premier entertainment destination of the world, Las Vegas? Known as the city that never sleeps, it has everything a couple who are young at heart and looking for fun can enjoy. Kill two birds with one stone; you can get married in Vegas, too!

Famously known as the playground of the rich and famous, Vegas has something for everyone. No one will be bored with its concerts, nightclubs, comedy headliners, art and famous productions shows. For the gamblers at heart, there are plenty of casinos to hang out in and even strike it rich; who knows! The hotels in Vegas are awe-inspiring, with some of the most original and luxurious around. The Venetian and Mirage are just two to mention.

There is also the option to visit the Grand Canyon, which isn’t too far; you can take a helicopter ride straight from Vegas to the Grand Canyon and see one of the most beautiful natural terrains there is, or why not hire a car and take the 5-hour drive, you stay overnight in a log cabin or spend the night sleeping around a campfire covered by a blanket of stars. If that’s not adventurous enough, go water rafting down the Colorado River. That should put some wind in your sails.

Canada

Why not whisk off to a winter wonderland on the white snow-capped mountains of Canada? Canada’s mountains are perfect for winter sports, from the mighty Rockies to the alluring Laurentian. With its natural topography and excellent snow accumulation, the Canadians have created some of the best ski resorts worldwide since the 1960s. The diversity of the resorts is one of its best attractions; from the champion slopes of Whistler to the laid-back hangouts of Red Mountain, there is a little something for everyone. 

Switzerland

Or, Zermatt in the Swiss Alps. Zermatt is a picturesque village located at the foot of the Matterhorn, one of the most iconic peaks in the world. The town has a charming atmosphere with traditional Swiss architecture and narrow streets with shops and restaurants. The massive ski area offers over 360 kilometres of slopes for skiers of all levels. The views from the top of the mountains are breathtaking, with panoramic vistas of the surrounding peaks and valleys. 

After a long day of skiing or snowboarding, relax in the hot tub at the hotel before dining out on some traditional Swiss cuisine, such as fondue and raclette. A romantic thing to do whilst there is to take the Gornergrat train to the top of Gornergrat Mountain, where you can enjoy a 360-degree view of the Alps.

France

One of the most beautiful and best ski resorts in the world is Val d’Isere in France. Spend your days on the slopes together or walk in the woods, where you can enjoy the fresh air and quiet surroundings. You could even picnic in the snow, as it is mostly car-free. Plus, it’s an incredibly picturesque destination. The village is nestled in the middle of the peaks, on the edge of the Vanoise National Park. The attractive stone and wood buildings supply character in abundance. 


Cultural Honeymoon Destinations – Japan

Japan will fascinate you with the culture and history of the country; it could be a trip of a lifetime. It is romantic, exciting and culturally rich; Japan should be considered as a honeymoon destination. Visit the stunning city of Kyoto, known for its traditional architecture, beautiful gardens and historic temples. Wander through the gardens of the Kinkaku-ji temple, admiring the golden pavilion and taking in the serene atmosphere. Or visit Fushimi Inari Shrine, known for its thousands of torii gates that lead up a mountain. It is a beautiful and peaceful experience. 

Another highlight is the city of Tokyo. It is bustling, full of energy and excitement. Spend a day in the trendy Shibuya district, where you can shop for souvenirs and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Visit the iconic Tokyo Tower, with panoramic views of the city. The Shinjuku district is known for its neon lights and lively atmosphere at night. You can spend hours trying different foods, playing arcade games, and soaking up the city’s energy. 

One of the most memorable experiences could be a trip to stay in a traditional ryokan in Hakone. This small town is in the mountains and is known for its hot springs and natural beauty. Sleep on futons on the floor, enjoy a multi-course dinner and relax in a hot spring bath. 

Trip Around Europe

For those culture seekers, this would be a perfect honeymoon; this is the ideal chance to see all the historical sites you’ve dreamed of. To see the beautiful and romantic city of Paris for the first time together, late-night strolls along the Champs Elises and whispering sweet nothings under the Eiffel Tower. 

Other popular destinations include Gran Canaria. The Canary Islands are popular all year round because of consistent warmth, with almost no rain and long days of sunshine. Or, if you only have a weekend for a city break, there are plenty of things to do in Berlin in Germany.

England

Visit London, the home of William Shakespeare and King Charles III. You can do a historical tour around the streets of London and be brought back in time to the streets of the gruesome Jack the Ripper and the famous burning of London Bridge. Then see the beautiful Westminster Abbey and stop off at Buckingham Palace to visit the King’s home, maybe have some tea and scones if you’re lucky.

Wales

Wales has a distinctive culture, including its own language, customs, politics, history, and distinctive traditions. Cardiff, the capital city of Wales, is compact, making it easy to explore the city on foot, by bike or on public transport. It has a rich history, fantastic green spaces as well as a renowned nightlife.

Wales is known for its rugged coastline and mountainous national parks. However, the country offers a range of attractions, from castles (more than 400 of them!) and museums and world-recognised beaches. Discover the coastal towns of Aberystwyth or Barmouth or the industrial towns of Pontypridd or Caerphilly.

Ireland

Not forgetting the diverse provinces of Ireland, the stunning west of Ireland with its ancient cultures and Gaelic-speaking natives of Connemara, take a currach ride over to the nearly deserted Aryan Island and see how the ancient Celts once lived. You can also visit the city of Dublin, which is drenched in culture and history, the place to go to have the craic as always the Irish know how to have a good time.
